Chapter 115 Celia is here too?
Pushing open the dormitory door, Sandra Meya was the first to squeeze in, her bright green eyes curiously looking around.
"Wow, Li Angqing, your room is much tidier than I imagined!" she exclaimed.
"I thought all the boys' dorms were messy."
Harris adjusted his glasses, carefully surveyed the cramped space, and nodded in agreement:
"Indeed—very neat."
Li Ang smiled, without explaining that it was actually thanks to Lottie who came to clean every day.
Li Ang's dormitory was small. Apart from a single bed, a desk, and a wardrobe, there was almost no other furniture. On the desk were several books, a stack of parchment, and his usual potion-making tools, a crystal-clear glass cauldron, and several clean beakers.
Sandra Meyer and Harris walked naturally to the bedside and sat down side by side, as if they wanted to have a long talk.
Li Ang knew they wanted to inquire about the mission.
Just as Li Ang was about to close the door, an unexpected figure appeared at the doorway, blocking the door from closing.
He wore a blue wizard's robe, had an exquisite yet indifferent face, and possessed unique eyes that resembled molten gold.
"The Wizard Celia?" Leon was slightly taken aback, his face showing undisguised confusion. "You—is there something you need?"
Celia looked at him calmly with her golden eyes, her tone revealing no emotion:
"What, you're not welcoming me? And are you just going to make me stand outside the door forever?"
Li Ang then realized what was happening and quickly stepped aside, saying, "Excuse me, please come in."
Celia slowly walked into the small dormitory room, and her arrival instantly made the originally relaxed atmosphere somewhat stagnant.
Sandra Meyer and Harris, who were sitting on the bed, immediately stood up nervously when they saw the blue-robed wizard.
The imposing presence of a third-level wizard put considerable pressure on them.
Harris looked into Celia's eyes, and seemed to remember something. Her expression changed slightly, and she quickly leaned close to Sandramea's ear and whispered something.
Celia's gaze swept over Maya and Harris, a faint, enigmatic smile playing on her lips.
Then she turned to Leon Carlson and said, "Leon Carlson, would you be interested in joining our school of astrology?"
She paused, her tone slightly mocking:
"If you're willing to come, I can use my connections to get you a double room." The kind big enough for three people to lie down in.
Upon hearing this, Harris's face instantly turned bright red, and he lowered his head in embarrassment.
Sandramea looked bewildered, clearly not fully understanding the deeper meaning behind Celia's words, but simply thought the king-size bed room sounded nice.
Li Ang, of course, didn't take that seriously; he simply shook his head with a wry smile.
"Thank you for your kind offer, Wizard Celia. But I have no plans to switch schools at the moment."
He skillfully avoided the awkward topic of the king-size bed.
There was nowhere else to sit in the dormitory. Maya and Harris had occupied the only bed, while Li Ang was sitting in the chair in front of the desk.
Celia looked around, seemed to sigh, and finally walked to the bedside, gracefully sitting down next to Maya and Harris, squeezing in with them.
Looking at the three witches crammed onto his bed, Li Ang felt the scene was rather strange, but basic hospitality couldn't be ignored.
He got up and used the [Water Creation] spell to pour clear, clean water into the crucible.
Then, from the desk drawer, I took out a packet of calming flower and a few of its companion calming herbs, and added a few slices of sweet licorice root.
He placed the materials into the crucible, and with a slight movement of his fingertips, a flame ignited at the bottom of the crucible. Soon, a faintly sweet aroma filled the small dormitory room.
After the water boiled, he extinguished the flame, took out three clean beakers and his usual ceramic drinking cup, and poured the brewed herbal tea into them.
Suddenly, something occurred to him. He looked at Celia and asked somewhat embarrassedly:
"Witch Celia, would you like a drink? But all I have here are beakers."
He had a reason for asking this question. It was common for apprentices of the Potions School to drink water from beakers. Lottie had also been drinking water from beakers when she came, and Harris and Maya were used to it when they were in the workshop. But Celia was of noble birth, and he was not sure if she could accept such crudeness.
Celia first frowned slightly and muttered something:
"How come you don't even have a decent tea set?"
But then she realized that Li Ang was just an apprentice wizard, and one with no background at all, so she shouldn't expect too much.
So she nodded and said, "Okay."
So Li Ang handed the herbal tea in the beaker to the three of them, and then picked up his ceramic cup, carefully blew on it, and sipped it.
He didn't speak first, but waited quietly for Celia to reveal her purpose.
Celia sipped her hot tea, the rising steam making her squint slightly.
She put down the beaker, her golden eyes looking at Li Ang, and said:
First of all, congratulations on coming back alive.
Li Ang nodded, still not understanding her purpose, and simply waited for her to continue.
But Sandra Meyer couldn't help herself. Based on the information she had gathered earlier, the word "congratulations" took on a different meaning in her ears.
Her emerald eyes stared directly at Celia, her tone carrying a barely perceptible hint of accusation:
"Witch Celia, I've heard that you are an exceptionally skilled astrological witch, and a member of the renowned Zodiac family. The Zodiac family is known for its accurate prophecies—"
She then changed the subject, "So, why didn't you issue any warnings beforehand about the terrible events that occurred in Stormy Mountains?"
Sandra Maya's words made Harris's eyes widen instantly. She gasped, tugged at Maya's sleeve, and whispered, "Sandra Maya, stop talking."
Good heavens, questioning a level three wizard, and the faction leader's niece at that? Maxwell is incredibly audacious, Harris exclaimed inwardly.
Celia, however, was not angry. Her face remained expressionless as she picked up her cup, took another sip of tea, and said calmly:
"It's alright. This incident was indeed a mistake by the astrological school."
She paused, then continued:
"But we can't entirely blame ourselves for this. After all—"
Her tone became serious.
"After all, this matter involves an evil god, and our observations have been greatly interfered with and distorted."
"An evil god?!"
"Smack."
With Harris's exclamation, Sandra Maya's grip tightened, and the beaker in her hand instantly shattered into pieces.
The warm tea in the cup splashed all over her and also spilled onto Li Ang's bed sheets.
Harris and Maya stared at Celia in horror.
Li Ang thought to himself, "Isn't Tari supposed to keep it a secret? How come Celia just blurted it out?"
However, he then realized that this was not something he should worry about, since she was a level three wizard and he was only a level one wizard.
It's more practical to worry about your bed sheets than about her leaking information.
