Galaxy Fall: All My Skills Are Maxed

Chapter 356: The Fractured Mind

Chapter 356: The Fractured Mind

"What is happening to Jessica?" Princess Carolina asked in genuine surprised, abruptly getting to her feet as the ambient energy in the royal viewing box spiked dangerously.

"Stimulation... In truth, Jessica’s mind is a lot fundamentally stronger than Ethan’s. Controlling Ethan isn’t an issue, but Jessica is entirely different; having that ancient power inside of her, it’s a bit difficult to completely control. So any little extreme stimulation will aggressively clash with her original, suppressed memories." Master Teacher Nadia explained, a deep, troubled frown on her face as she analyzed the scene.

"We can absolutely afford to lose Ethan, but we can’t lose Jessica." Prince Scott yelled, getting to his feet.

’This disgusting brother of mine only wants her physical body! He plans to have it immediately after this competition. If she dies or gets permanently injured here, his twisted wish won’t be accomplished.’ Carolina thought with profound disgust, tightly clenching her fan, and turned her sharp gaze back to the massive holographic screen:

"Can’t we systemically stop the competition?"

"We legally can’t interfere... She should surrender, or---"

Nadia and absolutely everyone in the froze mid-sentence, staring in pure horror at Buck as he shot violently towards Jessica’s back, his dagger aimed flawlessly at the base of her exposed neck.

"Does that guy actually want to kill her?!!" Nadia stood up in absolute, unadulterated shock.

[Arena.]

"Die you bitch!!"

Buck yelled at the top of his lungs, his dark dagger moving rapidly towards Jessica’s spine with pure, concentrated killing intent. He had completely abandoned the tournament’s safety protocols.

"You will violently pay for absolutely everything you did!!" He screamed.

BAM!!!

"...?!"

Buck was completely stunned, all his momentum instantly halting. He stared blankly at the bare hand effortlessly gripping the sharp edge of his descending dagger. He slowly, terrified, looked up at Jessica, who slowly looked over her shoulder at her attacker.

Her right eye was its usual, vibrant blue eyes—the very same human eyes Mirabella fondly remembered from their past life. However, the left was her new, corrupted, glowing silver eyes, and her third eye, the mythic eye embedded in her forehead, was burning pure, authoritative gold.

"This?!" Buck was entirely stunned by the terrifying, multi-layered aura radiating from her, as Jessica smoothly clenched her fist, violently shattering the high-tier dagger into metallic dust.

"...?!!"

He quickly leaped backward, desperately abandoning his broken attack. He landed heavily on the cratered ground, staring up at the useless handle in his trembling hand in sheer disbelief.

’This?! Is she actually fighting the mind control?’ Mirabella asked herself in profound surprised, her mind racing as she stared intently at Jessica’s three color eyes.

"You?! You’re truly a terrifying monster--"

Buck violently froze mid-sentence as Jessica instantaneously appeared right before him, completely bypassing the distance,£. Her armored hand shot forward like a viper, grabbed his throat with crushing, hydraulic force, and Rose him effortlessly into the air.

"...?!"

Mirabella blinked, her golden eyes narrowing; in her previous, blood-soaked life, she intimately remembered Jessica’s true, baseline strength. Not only that, Jessica ultimately became one of the absolute strongest powerhouses on earth... She didn’t legally or magically rely on any mythic eye to achieve her dominance.

’Seems I definitively need to help her right after this competition... I have to violently change my grand plans.’

Mirabella made her decision. She elegantly snapped her fingers, and a distortion in the spatial inventory occurred. Her golden red Military medal materialized out of thin air before her, the five brilliant stars on it instantly catching the bright sunlight.

"...?!!!"

Hitachi, Rose, Grace, Carl, Aurelia, Austin, and all the surrounding academy students who stood close to her completely froze in pure, unadulterated horror. They haven’t even graduated from the basic vanguard academy, but every single citizen in the three empires intimately knew the imperial military ranks... Having a five-star god general rank! That’s politically and militarily akin to having the absolute influence and destructive authority of a Master Teacher in that empire.

"A five-star god general?!" The six yelled simultaneously in a hushed, terrified low voice, their knees buckling under the sheer weight of the reveal, and Mirabella slowly, definitively nodded her head:

"Remember exactly what I told you guys... At the absolute end of this competition, I will actively meet all of you in the upper echelons of Galaxy City’s tower, 8pm today... I only want to see those who will completely join my guild... If you explicitly join me, you will be firmly under my absolute protection, and I will strictly help you accomplish your ultimate goals in this brutal world." She said, her blue gaze fixed unyieldingly on Jessica’s struggling form.

’I originally planned to do this quietly after graduation, but I need to save you... I don’t mind becoming a mortal enemy with the entire sword empire, but if I discovered they have a direct hand in this, I will make them--’

BOOOOM

Mirabella paused her dark thoughts, the shockwave rattling the stands, watching as Jessica brutally smashed Buck right into the reinforced stone ground. Buck violently vomited thick, dark blood, staring up at her with pure, undiluted disdain.

"Go ahead, kill me too!" He muttered in a strained, broken low voice, calibrated so only she could hear over the roaring crowd.

Jessica blinked in profound shock, her lone blue eyes widening in absolute, paralyzing horror, and she violently let go of him, stumbling and moving back in genuine surprise, her hands visibly shaking.

Davy, hovering above, stared silently at the two, and slowly turned his gaze to Buck, who remained broken on the ground, his major bones and ribs completely broken... Even with multiple broken bones, his sheer hatred forced him back to his trembling feet, more dark blood flowing from his split lips.

"What does he actually mean by kill me too?" Jessica asked herself, her voice cracking.

’Hey! Let me in kid!!’

A deep, reverberating demonic voice suddenly sounded directly in her head, bypassing her nerves. She blinked, her physical vision entirely vanishing, seeing herself instantly transported into a boundless, sterile white space—the deepest construct of her own spiritual sea.

"Where am I?"

"Didn’t you hear me? I explicitly said let me back in."

Jessica slowly turned around, staring in absolute, terrifying shock at her exact physical self standing opposite her. The only distinct difference was the two glowing silver eyes and the burning golden mythic eye on the second’s forehead, radiating absolute malice.

"Who are you?!" Jessica asked with a deep, defensive frown, clutching her aching head.

"I am you... And you are inherently me." The second answered with a cruel, mocking smirked, tilting her head to the side like a curious predator.

"Give the absolute control back to me."

Jessica frowned at her deeply, but before she could argue, locked memories violently flooded her head. She stammered backward in sheer, unadulterated terror—the horrific killings, the rivers of innocent blood, the absolute massacre of entire villages, all physically done by her own hands under the entity’s control.

"You... What... What have you done?!" She screamed at the second, tears of pure anguish falling down her face.

"I just give them Freedom."
